Logans RoadHouse

Yesterday was my first time dining at Logans Roadhouse. It was located on Dixie Hwy. I really can't tell why I've never eaten there before. Well upon entering we where greeted with smiles, the way it should be with all restaurants. The first thing I noticed was that there where thousands of peanut shells on he floor. This was a shock to me, I mean I've never seen anything like that before LOL. Not knowing why, I asked and well that's just how they do it at Logans. I'm pretty sure my daughters would love to eat here they're always throwing something on my floor at home. We arrived with 30 minutes left for happy hour, so we ordered some drinks and appetizers. Started off with a Long Island Ice Tea and wow it had me spinning after about several sips. Pretty good drink and well made. By the time I was half the way finish with my drink our appetizers came along with my house salad with ranch dressing. The salad was great, nice crispy lettuce, super red tomato's, cheese, and not really enough bacon. The dressing was one of the best ranches I've tasted and definitely impressed me. The 3 sample appetizer came with buffalo wings. cheese sticks, and potato skins. I really don't care to much for cheese sticks but hey where pretty good. The wings on the other hand where the bomb. I will definitely go back to get a to go wing dinner sometime this coming week. The potato skins where cooked just right but could've used a little more cheese and bacon. I ended up ordering a full slab of ribs and a sweet potato. The ribs where tender (fall off the bone tender) and the sweet potato was just a tad bit over cooked. Oh before I forget their bread/rolls are wonderful. They came out HOT, and the cinnimon butter just melted right over them. Logans you get a thumbs up!!

Hong Kong Restaurant
Here I am sitting in the Hong Kong Restaurant off of 3rd st. 5312 South 3rd street suite 102 to be exact. I'm having the General Tso Chicken and Crab Rangoon. My friend is having a Shrimp Eggroll and Shrimp Fried Rice. I usually don't eat Chinese food but today I'm making an exception. Upon arriving we where greeted with friendly faces and smiles. The restaurant was clean and the food smelled great. It took about 6 mins for the for to come out and because we where dining in, the food was brought out to us. Only thing I didn't like was that they didn't serve fountain drinks, and the sodas in the fridge wasn't really that cold. Back to the food! Everything was arranged neatly on the dish and was cooked to perfection. I would recommend this eatery to anyone looking for some good Chinese food.
Sweet N Swirly
Just stopped by this frozen yogurt shop on Veterans Pkwy in Clarksville Indiana. Its called Sweet N Swirly and its GOOD! I had the Pom Raspberry, and I have to say I was impressed. It was tart and sweet. The employees where very nice and where very helpful. Everyone who came in was greeted and helped. In opinion Sweet N Swirly is a winner in my book.

"The Worlds Largest Halloween Party!" "NOT!!!"
What a bunch of crap, how in the world has this thing made it to a 30 year anniversary!! Wow all I can say is WOW. Ok yesterday I took my two daughters to the Louisville Zoo for their so called Worlds Largest Halloween Party. This was our first visit and our last visit. Upon arriving there my expectations where high. All the children (and some parents) in their costumes, holding their oversized trick or treat bags. You could see the excitement in their eyes. Little did they know that their excitement would be gone by the end of their visit. The lines where long but moved very quickly. Tickets where $8 at the window, but you could have purchased them at Meiger for $6.50. Instead of parking miles away and waiting for the free shuttle we decided to park at the zoo. Oh yeah they charge 5 bucks for that, SMH. On the website they state that some of the animal exhibits are not guaranteed to be open beyond dusk. Well hell I seen a zebra, a giraffe, and 2 monkeys. Now what would it have hurt to have the animals out forth publics viewing. Again SMDH!! As we where making our way through the park there where little booths set up where they passed out the candy. Each child received 1 piece of candy. Yes I said 1 piece of candy. Not the good candy either. More like penny candy! I didn't see no one Milky Way, Snicker, Twix at all. Not even Milk Duds! Yes there where characters from several movies and t.v show, basically they where workers and volunteers dress in costumes with make up and paint. There was one large blow up dinosaur that was just that a blow up dinosaur. I think the most fun thing there was the maze that was made out of bales of hay. So here we are making our way around and collecting their one piece of candy and then BAM! It's over. You back at the exit. What?!! You have to be kinding me, I mean really! My kids collected a grand total of 15 pieces of small candy and got their picture taken with batman, sherk, and the scarecrow. All these big name sponors that are named and this is the end result. The Louisville Zoo should be ashamed and totally revamp, "The Worlds Largest Halloween Party"!!
